Currently studying at Cedarville University in Ohio, I’m a junior visual communication design major, concentrating in both graphic and web design. I love different aspects of design, but what I love most is being able to create a visual solution to any problem I get handed.

One of my favorite things about working in design is being able to collaborate with different people. I love being part of the team to create the best solution possible! I think the best creativity happens when people are able to use their unique viewpoints together to create something entirely new.

Another thing that I love to do is problem-solving. It gives me a lot of fun to be given an issue/problem and find a creative visual solution in return. It makes me happy to use my gifts and skills that I’ve worked on to create something other people will be able to enjoy and benefit from.

Lastly, at heart I am someone who puts other people first. I love thinking from other people’s point of view and keeping those thoughts in mind when designing. It's truly the heart of why I love to design and also work with others. It’s why I particularly enjoy web design and why I eventually want to get into user-experience design, as I would love to work on creating visually appealing designs that put usability first.
